University of St. Francis

In 2015, R. Berti was hired as the Construction Manager for this extensive remodeling project for the University of St. Francis School of Nursing. A 60,000 sq. ft., four story,1923 former orphanage called “Guardian Angel Home” was the site for this project. Each of the building's three 15,000 sq.ft. floors required demolition and then were to be renovated into classrooms, administration offices and working nursing labs. The work needed to be completed so the school could be ready to receive students for the beginning of the 2016 fall semester. The project required managing a large workforce of sub-contractors working different shifts as well as coordinating self-performed technology work by the University. R. Berti successfully completed the work within 13 months and the school of nursing was ready to receive students for the fall semester as planned.
